Founded in 1955, Metro Brands, a prominent Indian footwear retailer, expanded its store reach significantly with a diverse portfolio of brands. Big Indian brands such as Metro Shoes, Mochi Shoes, and even international brands like FitFlop, and Fila were under the Metro Brands Ltd. umbrella. As they expanded from an exclusively offline, single-store presence to a robust online footprint, Metro Brands Ltd. sought Cloud4C's expertise to transition from their on-premises setup to Cloud.
With the objective of standardizing processes, gaining increased efficiency, and obtaining better insights, Metro Brands Ltd. planned a transition from on-premises to AWS Cloud Platform for its production SAP workloads. However, they needed the support of a partner with deep experience in the field, to walk them through the process and navigate challenges such as risk minimization, lowering IT operational costs, and fostering change adoption among teams.
This is where Cloud4C stepped in. Our team of experts helped Metro Brands Ltd. migrate their technology stack to a new hardware while tapping into the features of SAP’s standard tool Software Package Manager (SWPM). Alongside, our experts implemented key systems in AWS with SAP migration. This included AWS Backup, Application Server AMI, Amazon Cloud Trail and more. We also ensured meticulous documentation of processes. Cloud4C's strategic approach provided the foundation for success, from translating the triumph on similar projects into process improvement, to relentless focus on business outcomes.
